Future Business Leaders of America is just one of the many activities to join at Crete High School, and one of the most popular. Crete  FBLA, sponsored by Mrs. Coe, has been participating in National FBLA Week for many years now. FBLA week is about showing your pride and the knowledge you’ve gained while being apart of FBLA, and Crete’s chapter does a great job at showcasing it.

Members could participate in FBLA week by wearing their Crete FBLA t-shirt, dressing up in business attire, or actively taking a part in the weeks numerous games/meetings. Sponsor Mrs. Coe said, “This year’s FBLA week was one of the most successful ones we’ve had. So many people participated and it really showed me how much these kids really enjoy being involved in the activity.” Of course, it’s hard not to enjoy it when at the end of the week, the FBLA members got to end their celebratory week of business leadership with a cake and ice cream party. Senior Roni Miller says, “FBLA is one of my favorite activities I’m involved in because it’s definitely the most informing. But, Mrs. Coe always finds a way to still make it fun for everyone.” Making activities enjoyable for everyone is no easy task as Crete’s FBLA chapter has over 60 kids involved. At the end of the week, all FBLA members got to walk away feeling satisfied with their effort and the joy of being a part of such a well structured community.
